Thomas L. Bartlett, Sr., 62, of Lake in the Hills, died peacefully at his home, January 26, 2018
Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8pm at DeFiore Jorgensen Funeral Home-10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10:00am at the funeral home.
Thomas was born December 18, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois the son of Bruce and Joyce Bartlett. On October 29, 1983 he married Linda Vogt. He worked as a Tool engineer and plant manager. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed the history channel, motorcycles playing cards and pool. He was also a Chicago Bear’s and White Sox fan. Tom was also a member of the society of plastics engineers
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Linda, his children, Melissa (Steve) Ehrhardt, Thomas, Jr. (Dawn) Bartlett, Scott Michaels, Roxanne (Jordan) Wiggins and Richard Bartlett. By his 9 grandchildren, Crystal, Kaitlyn, Ashlyn, Joey, Sophia, Caleb, Casey, Cheyenne, and Brandon, and by his great grandchildren, Payton and Mackenzie. He is also survived by his brothers, and sisters, Butch Bartlett, Bill (Linda) Bartlett, Wayne Bartlett, Karen (Bryan, Sr.) Peterson, Robert Bartlett, Jeffrey Bartlett , Tracey Bartlett, Joyce Bergschneider, Larry Bergechneider, Jimmy Bergschneider and by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and by one brother, Bruce.
