Obituary

Anna Iaccino, 86 formerly of Algonquin, passed away on Monday evening, April 9, 2018 at Highland Oaks in Elgin.

She was born September 17, 1931 in Celico, Italy, the daughter of Salvatore and Emilia (Noce) DeRose. She was united in marriage to Alex Iaccino on September 30, 1951 in Italy. The couple immigrated to the United States in 1952 and settled in Chicago. In the mid 1960’s they moved to Mt. Prospect where they raised their family. In 2001, they moved to Algonquin. Anna received so much joy from raising her children and cooking for and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Larry (Patti) Iaccino of Mt. Prospect, Mary Ann (Tom) March of Huntley, Joe Iaccino of Elkville, Aimee (Mark) Goulding of Hampshire and Sal (Dana) Iaccino of Huntley, her grandchildren, Gina (Andrew) Beck, Carla (Matt) Reahm, Lisa Iaccino, Celeste (John) Pinnello, Jason Hall, Melissa Hall, Alex Iaccino, Joey Iaccino, Carolann Iaccino, Darian Goulding, Luca Goulding, Brady Iaccino and Devin Iaccino, her great-grandchildren, Lia, Ariana, Teya, Livvy, Ellie, Macey, Nathan, Hayden, Bella and Dean, and her sister Renata DeLuca of Island Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alex and her sister, Michelina.

A Memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 –5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 22nd at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral & Cremation Service, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley and on Monday, April 23rd at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Road, Huntley, gathering at 9:00 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass.
