Obituary

Stuart P. “Poppy” Moskovitz, 76 of Sun City, Huntley, passed away at JourneyCare Hospice in Woodstock on Thursday, December 28, 2017 following a lengthy illness.

He is survived by his wife, Gerri of Huntley, his step-children, Lucia (Scott) Irwin of Schaumburg, Keith (Josephine) Kabat of Port St. Lucie, Florida, his grandchildren, Samantha, Josh, Katie (Mike), Randy (Casey), Dustin, Scott Jr., Kristen and Tom, Poppy was fond of all eleven of his great-grandchildren and his brothers, Phillip Moskovitz, Steve (Julia) Moskovitz and their children, Jason and John, and Alan Moskovitz. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Dorothy.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service on Friday, January 5th at the DeFiore-Jorgensen Funeral Home, 10763 Dundee Road, Huntley. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Huntley. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
