Patricia O’Gorman Fick, 77 of Sun City, Huntley, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018 in Elgin following a lengthy illness.
She was born September 27, 1940 in Appleton, Wisconsin, the daughter of Kenneth and Lucille (Betlach) O’Gorman. She was united in marriage to Bernard E. “Butch” Fick.
Patti moved from Moon Township, Pennsylvania to Arlington Heights, Illinois and graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 1959. She went on to earn her Nurses degree in El Paso, Texas. Patti will be remembered for thinking of others, from her kindness to her patients in the operating room to her endless ability to make others laugh. No one will ever forget Patti’s ability to build anything, fix anything and above all, “Patti’s Pies”
She is survived by her husband, Butch of Huntley, step-daughter, Hollie (Tom) Box of Houston, Texas, sister, Nancy Glass of Houston, Texas, brother, Timothy (Michele) O’Gorman of Estero, Florida, sister, Colleen (James) Rooney of Las Vegas, nieces, Patricia (John) Barry, Shannon (Doug) Campbell, Kassy (Greg) Pinter, Brandi (Greg) Penza, Kelly (John) Grigus, Stephanie O’Gorman and nephews, Joe Bellanca, Ken O’Gorman and Tim (Briana) O’Gorman. She was preceded in death by infant twin daughters, her brother, Ken O’Gorman and her sister, Kathy Bellanca.
